New Nanny with baby health questions.? Hello, I recently began a job as a nanny for a 3 month old baby. I have only been on the job for one week now but am concerned about the babies tendency to projectile vomit after eating. It is not after every single feeding but it is after at least one per day. I usually am here long enough that I have to feed her 2-3 times and so it is making me very nervous. I have spoken to the mom about it and she doesn't seem to be too concerned. She ordered a homeopathic remedy for reflux, which I think is probably colic calm. I have read a little bit about it and it seems like it may work. I try and burp her several times while feeding her her bottle, which is pumped breast milk, and she normally burps. Should I be worried? I have had to change her clothes several times a day and feel bad about it. It doesn't smell but it just doesn't dry very fast either and i don't like to carry around a wet baby. Because it generally goes all over the front of her. Is there anything else I should be or could be doing until the new medicine comes? It is projectile vomiting because it shoots across the couch. And out her nose and gets all over her, me and the couch.
What would you do for your 10 month old baby health question? I have taken my sons temp a few times and it has all been different no more than 100.0 I can't give him Tylenol right now because he already has had a dose. He has a slight cough but coughs maybe 2 or 3 minutes every hour or more he has 3 poopy diapers but not diarrhea. He is eating like normal and just a little cranky his forehead feels hot but he doesn't have a high temp so what would you do he might be teething. Can he have Tylenol and motrin?
10 mo. baby, health questions? Hi. My 10 month old was 8 1/2 lbs. and 20 inches long at birth, and he grew LOTS up til I started weaning him to regular foods around 2 months ago...Due to some physical ailments I've had and low milk supply I have chosen to slowly wean him up till he is a year, keeping the night feeding till he is 2. Anyhow, he is only 20 something pounds now, and though we have little men in my husband's family, I have worried because my eldest was SO HUGE at his age...if he is mostly on solids and on a good formula, shouldn't he start to gain weight? He IS wearing 12 mo. clothes and slowly growing out of them, so should I just not worry about it? He is also walking along furniture...but he hardly talks, where my eldest constantly jabbers! Do you think this is something I should talk to our doctor about?

Might Have a Baby. Questions About Pregnancy and Mental Health Medication!!!? Ok, so I think I'm pregnant. I'm waiting to see if my period will come on time. So now it's just the waiting game. Ok first question: How long will you go through withdrawals when you get off mental health medication? I am 18 and have Bipolar, and am taking Lithium, Abilify, and Vyvanse (newer ADD medication). Non mental health medications I take are: Melatonin, Fish Oil, Singulair, and Zyrtec. Just so you know. I know there's alot, but I used to take more. Anyway, another question of mine is: If I'm off of my mental health medication during my first month (or sooner) of pregnancy, will the baby be okay? Please answer my questions. Thank you so much!

Please answer, baby health question? Hi. My 10month old daughter has had a VERY small nose bleed. It wasn't enough to drip. i was bathing her this morning & noticed she had a tiny amount of blood round her nose but no cuts so i am sure it was a nose bleed. Should i take her to the doctors? I'm not sure how serious it is for babies to have nose bleeds. She has not knocked or banged her nose but it was such a small amount it was hard to even notice.

Post-Baby Health Question! Cyst or Lump inside Vagina? I gave birth naturally 5 months ago, everything normal with the delivery. I did not have an episiotomy but I did tear. I still have pain peeing - but my gyno thinks it has something to do with me breastfeeding. Now I've found a lump or it could be a cyst on the INSIDE of my vagina. It doesn't hurt - but it was itchy last night. It can be pushed back and if I push it comes out...WHAT the heck is this?! Is this like scare tissue or something from my delivery? I have a doc appoint schedule but it's in 2 weeks. Wondering if any other mother has had this, that could give me some insight!
Okay, personal Womens health questions. They are in THIS section cause I recently had a baby.? FIRSTLY NOTE: I went to my OB/GYN already, His Nurse wouldn't make me an appointment because I'm 18 with a baby she says "Well you aren't pregnant anymore, I don't need to worry about you making the baby sick, so whatever you have now, you deserve to deal with" MY INSURANCE ONLY COVERS THIS ONE OB, and besides that, I called to complain and SHE picked up the phone, SHE is the OB's wife, so she is ALWAYS there, I can't get around it, and My normal doctor just keeps saying WELL you have to go to an PB for these problems, I can't help you... So while i'm TRYING STILL to get in to see my OB, I thought I'd ask you people for the meanwhile. Okay problem 1) Since I had My daughter (4 mo old) I have gotten Menstral cramps so bad it feels like im in THE END of labour all over again for 3 days stait, It takes 3 ibuprofen 800's to get rid of it, and i KNOW you arent supposed to take that much but its JUST like labour, I cant take that much pain, this morning i couldnt find my pills and I ended up waking the baby screaming in pain. 2) Accompanied with my cramps and sometimes when I'm not on my period, I get a SHARP stabbing pain on my lower left side like someone drove a needle in me. When Hollie was in my tummy she always attacked that area, and that is also where my water burst. Can something be wrong there? 3) since I had Hollie i am ALWAYS wet down there, Like slightly goopy, and it will happen within 5 minutes... it takes more than 5 minutes per load of laundry and I don't have an unending supplie of undies. Point is, because of this I have "Diaper rash!" Because I can't keep it dry, I've tried pantie-liners and even baby powder to no avail ANY IDEAS??!! I still have THAT OB because that is the ONLY one my insurance will cover, and I don't have enough money to pay for one! there is no planned parenthood here :/ Boron, Ca. I have no car, btw... well i know its not a yeast infection because I had those before, its JUST like being wet all the time, like turned on, but im not turned on. Secondly, Postpartum? I'm not depressed at all I'm in PHYSICAL pain. Yes it was Vaginal Birth No they didn't "pack" me, just gave me a pad and it doesnt have a smell at all just like normal lubricational type wetness, like when you get turned on Yes, Just normal, not enough for a pad, but enough that I cant keep it dry, and its semi thick so it wont soak into the pantie liner, just sits on top, which is whats giving me the "diaper rash" being wet all the time is irritating the hell out of it, and since my husband and i's dad's (both his dad and my dad) are living with us (they are worthless leaches I swear!) i cant go without panties either. also, to the next answerer, It is Cornstarch Baby powder.
Question about baby's health?? Pregnant at 24 weeks and have a question about baby's health? Hey one of my girl friend wrote to me that her little 7 month old daughter had a stomach virus since Thanksgiving morning. Is this email okay? Here's what I wrote back to her: "Oh, I am sorry to hear about her. What may have caused the virus. Can she take any medicine for it, if so what kind? I need to be aware of this stuff." Does my response to her sound selfish especially my last sentence of needing to know this stuff? I need to know it cause I am pregnant with my child and will soon be looking at medicines and baby health. She has not replied back tome since then, so I hope she is not mad at me. I mean as much as I care for her and her baby, I have a right to know for my child as well? Virusus and ear infections and fevers are so common in little infants that it's fine what I asked her in my reply right ladies? The I need to be aware of this stuff does not sound like she needs to tell me this stuff earlier or something does it? I mean I wrote that line after asking her about medicine for her girl.
I have a question about my baby's health? I'm getting married this year, and I just found out I'm pregnant. Now, I used to do some drugs, but I was sober for at least a year before my baby was conceived. I know my health will never be the same, but will my baby be all right? I apologize if this question is kind of dumb, I'm a young mom with no really good education.
Why are we congratulating the super young mothers on this forum when they ask the dumbest questions??? I just answered a question by a 16 yr old who wanted to know why her newborns skin was yellow. She also stated that she had her FIRST baby when she was 12. I don't know how serious she is, for all I know she could be making it up . But why is it that I see so many people saying congrats and such to them when they need to be telling them to quit having sex to begin with. I sure wouldnt be saying congrats to a girl who's barely old enough to drive when she's asking questions about her babies health that could kill her if she doesnt take her to the doc's or the hospital. Instead she's asking total strangers. I find it scary to know that our future children have to be raised by children themselves. I dont buy for one minute that whole sob story of how young they are and blah blah. I was a young mom too but I had common sense. It pains me to know that these babies are in the hands of complete morons. Silva, why would anyone give you a bad rating for your answer. Not your in support of teen pregnancy or anything. And Taboo.. Im not full of crap . If your sterile that means you cant have kids. So unless it's immaculate conception, your not pregnant. Quit having sex. SheBopSally, Go look at taboos question and tell me if she's not full of crap. And when I was 16 I wasnt out there having sex and getting pregnant.
I need help with a baby health project: Please help? Here are three questions: - How old do infants need to be accepted into daycare? -whats the cost of daycare for one week and what is the name of the daycare? -How much does a hospital charge for the delivery of a baby? Thanks for all the help in advance
Baby Movement and the health of my baby? Hi moms! I am 31 weeks pregnant, and my baby is moving well, I believe. I have done kicking counts and I have never had a quiet time span for too long However, I would say, overall during my whole pregnancy, my baby seems really mellow. He has never been a crazy kicker the way I have heard other women describe their kids. He never seems to be hyper active I know he is moving and all right - so this may be a stupid question, but is my baby's chilled out, occasional kicking style a sign of bad health? Is he not active enough in there? Thanks!
A Question About Baby-Health Regarding Age Of Parents? I know study after study has shown the younger the mom and dad, the better chance of a healthy baby.... I am 29 pressing 30, and my girlfriend is 34 pressing 35....we're falling in love fast, but reasonable enough to know we should take our time, and we're a a few years away from marriage, which means by the time we'd conceive, i'd be 33 or 34, and she'd be 38 or 39.... ...therefore, we're seriously considering getting our eggs/sperm frozen NOW, so if we have a kid 5 years from now, it'll be as if it was a 30 year old man and a 35 year old woman... ...my question though, is how much has the odds of down syndrome, autism, and god knows what else, ALREADY increased compared to say, a 21 year old couple conceiving? At 34/35, has my girlfriend's odds of an unhealthy baby already increased drastically? Or if she freezes her eggs now, is that still young enough where the increase is fairly minor? And can anyone provide some research or sourcing to back up their claims? Thanks...
Can a baby have health issues befire 3 months? One of my friends is 3 months pregnant and she got into a fight at school...my question is "can her baby have health problems because of this?" and "when is the earliest they can test for down syndrome or any other diseases or health problems?"

Few questions on baby in the stomach? a) Will eating spicy food harm the baby? b) I usually put hot pack behind my lower back, will the baby feel the heat? Any impact to her? c) I've heard from chinese saying that taking cold stuff such as cold drinks and ice cream is not good for the baby as it will make his health poor when he's born. How true is this? d) Any limitation on how far can a person's stomach stretch due to the growing baby? e) Will breast size decrease to its normal size after giving birth? Appreciate if you can help to provide some answers. Tks.

I have a health insurance question for baby? Hey, I was wondering if there is a type of cheap health insurance me and my husband could get since we don't have any and are wanting to have a baby? We both work and have good jobs but, no insurance. Is there and insurance just to cover the baby because as long as the baby's needs are covered I could care less about us? That includes like before the baby is born but, all the doctor visits pertaining to the baby. It's not really that I "care less" about us. It's more that I would rather I get the best for my child wether I have insurace or not.
A health question about a baby? I have a friend who has a 5 month old baby, who was born one month premature, and as I've been watching him grow, I've noticed there's something really strange about his eyes. He doesn't seem to be able to see, he moves them back and forth when they're open without stopping, like he's trying to see but can't. He also seems to be very rigid, he doesn't just slump in your arms when you hold him, he keeps his body bent backwards like a bow, it's actually hard to get him to move any other way. Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone had any clue as to what could be wrong with him, any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you in advance But my friend is in denial that there's anything wrong with him...
World Health Organization and raising a baby? Since I started researching babies (I'm TTC) I've noticed conflicting information between WHO and American Pediatrics Association. Everything the WHO says just seems to make more sense and much healthier, like breastfeeding tips and co sleeping, and circumcision. With that and all the negligence within the health industry, are there any other Americans who also question what the health industry is telling us?

Why is a health visitor coming to see me 6 weeks before my baby is due? I got a letter stating that a health visitor would be coming to my home to 'introduce herself and answer any questions I may have'. Just curious as to why, is this how they do things now. When I had my daughter nearly 2 years ago I didn't see a health visitor until she was around 10 days old. What will she be talking to me about and why do they come before baby arrives, I've 6 weeks til my due date yet! Thanks in advance x
I have a question regarding my baby's health.? Is that ok If someone is using the same spoon or cup to feed/drink my baby (she is 9 months old) while they are eating? ( if someone has some dental/gum deseas) I mean I am just concerned about their oral hygine and it does not effect my baby's health. If it does effect my baby's health then how to deal with these kind of people since they do not understand that this is not right? Please advice me. Thanks
Baby budgie ( almost 3 weeks) health question? He spits up seed from his crop. He is parent fed. The only thing that has changed is that the parents were eating a parakeet diet Millet and canary seed and he was fine with that no vomiting But I ran out of that kind so had to substitute millet milo and black oil sunflower mix. He is very friendly and is reguarly handled. He is very active always scurrying around chirping. The parents are still feeding him. Baby bird is now doing much better no spitting up. Thanks to all who answered
Health question about a 6 month old baby boy???? My closest friend ended up having a baby around the same time as me. Her little boy is now 6 months old and weighs nearly 30 lbs. He wears size 12-18 months in pants and size 18-24 months in tops. He can barely roll over, has had a respiratory infection since he was 2 months, won't eat solids at all, doesn't show any facial emotions whatsoever. Could there be something wrong with him?? I am not making fun of him in any way, I just think that my friend is in deep denial and should have him checked out. Can anyone relate to this???? My daughter is 7 months. She weighs 17 lbs, still wears size 3-6 months. She can crawl, pull up on furniture, she has a very funny personality, always happy, never sick. She is all around a healthy baby. I am just concerned for my friend and her son. Ok, to Shelty K. First of all, I am not butting in. She is my best friend and has been for 10 years. I am trying to help her because there could be something wrong with her child. Stepping aside and letting this happen to someone close to me would make me a bad friend and could be dangerous for the baby. It is better to figure it out sooner than later.
Questions about pre-natal care without health insurance? My brother's girlfriend just found out she's pregnant. My brother recently lost his job, so they have no income (although he is trying very hard to get another job). He is in the Marines Reserve, so he does have health care for himself. Since it's his baby, could his health care be extended to his girlfriend? And also, are there any free maternity care facilities in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area? We're at a loss for how to help her out, but I want my new niece or nephew to get the best care possible. Please help!
Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA Questions? 1.Health Care FSA: Since I signed up the family insurance plan (me, husband, and the baby when he is born), does it mean the monthly medical insurance premium I paid is not eligible for FSA expense? If so, will my portion of the monthly premium be eligible? 2.Dependent Care FSA: I’m planning to have a nanny to take care of the baby after I return to work. How do I reimburse it since it’s paid to individual? Will check copy work?

Oregon Health Plan Question... Does my baby qualify now? I had my baby in the middle of April, and I need to get her medication soon. I am on OHP, and I don't have the booklet with me, but when I went in to get her medicine (and it's always paid for mine) the pharmacist told me that he would need her card. Well I signed up when i was pregnant and I thought that maybe my card would cover her for a certain period of time (what I was told) but I don't know. do I need to get her her own individual card? or number? please write me back and let me know anyone who has this coverage or anyone who knows about it, thank you very much.
pregnancy question..babies health? before me and my husband started trying.. when we play fought .i used to kick him in his "private area"... could this make me at higher risk of having a baby w/ birth defects??? personal experiences if possible thanks
hello im concerned about my newborn baby's health +mine+mom my question was longer that page allowed so. part2? up stairs and I just would like to know what kind of fuel does it run off of. the lady said," who are you anyways" wow!! couldn't believe it! after what had just happened to me my girlfriend an most importantly of all my newborn with her lil fresh lungs! I then showed her my wrist band and stated that I was the father of the baby that they had smoked out of one of their rooms upstairs due to testing of the generators, and all I want from you is the what kind of fuel lady! I'm gtting a lil more an more upset as time goes on. but, still not going out of control and holding my composure. she says," I don't know" so i said" well, you better find out!" so she called another nurse of some kind to come down and i asked her same question I have been asking since I ran out of the room at 1:35 @ this point it's around 2:00 am so it's about 25 min's after we were smoked out of the room and my girlfriend me and or our baby still have not recieved any type of medical attention that I have been demanding and feel we all need. so, I stopped asking for help/medical attention @ this point because, I knew that I was not going to recieve it for them. so, finally I got the info on what the generators were run on. and it was my worst fear! "DIESEL FUEL" and all I kept saying the whole time after I realized we were subjected to such toxic fumes before i went downstairs is I hope and it better not be DIESEL and sure enough, it was. so, GREAT THE ONE THING I DID NOT WANT TO HEAR!! now I'm kinda in a bit of shock and still in discomfort because I know how deadly diesel fumes are especially a high level of it, and especially for a newborn baby that was in it for over 30 min's so, I can only imagine what my baby had gone through. @ this point I demand them to write up a report on this, and I went back up to check on my family because I knew they weren't gonna do it for me. as I seen that whole night:( so I hurried up there and got to that new room they put up in and the heater was about to fall off the was and shock someone the clock didn't work so, how do you feed a baby every 3 hrs? thank goodness for cell phones:) and the toilet I seen the next morning had blood on the top of the seat and a large bead running down the outside middle of the bowl. I took a photo of that on my phone. I feel so neglected that we did not recieve or get offered any care what so ever after a bad situation like this. it took me going downstairs and putting up a lil fuss just to get my baby's heat beat checked they did a quick check on that and pretty that's about it! I believe because me and my girlfriend look so young that is why I cry's for help went unheard! I felt like an old man in a nursing home that ask for help and they just walk right by. I too care of my me and her took care of my grandma and everytime we went to a hospital we got the lil kid treatment. to the point I had to call my aunts in just to be heard! I feel like this now. I don't really know what I should do about this I honestly believe I should sue them over this because it's had been less than 2 days since it happened and still my baby has not been checked no blood work done nothing! please if you have any ideas on what I should do it would be most appreciated:) thank you for your time and sorry for long sad story:( yes the baby is still alive at home now. but, the damage has already beed done if you know anything about diesel exhaust which I do it is one of the worst things a human can breathe known to man! in under 30 it will cause 1. degrade the immune system 2. induce allergic reactions 3. neurotoxins that cause brain damage and attacks the spinal cord&nerves 4. premature death "more a year that drunk drivers &homicides a year" 5 alter the brain and activity within 30 mins 6. clogs coronary arteries that supplys the muscles of the heart 7.high risk for cancer, bronchitis, allergies, asthma, respritory problems and even lung disease 8. PM10 way too much to list but it is very bad for all humans especially a newborn what would you do in a situation like this? what should I do I need help please? thanks,
Baby sitting a Cat and have some questions? I am baby sitting a cat for a friend of mine that recently broke up with her boy friend. For some reason the dumb ass has cut the cats whiskers almost entirely off. Guess he figured he was getting her back for leaving him. How long will they take to grow back? Will that cause any health problems for the cat? Thanks
question about Well Baby Care and health insurance...? I'm looking at individual health insurance plans for myself. I'm not pregnant yet, just looking at insurance in case my husband and I do decide to have a baby. I'm wondering if anyone knows, on the health insurance plan for myself (it's a lifewise plan in Washington, if that matters) it says that Well Baby Care is just a 20% co-insurance pay (no deductible)... so does that mean if I had a baby I would pay 20% of the visit even if only I was insured? or does that imply I would by a separate insurance plan for my baby for him/her to be covered with the Well Baby Care?
Will I get to see my baby at 8 week appt? What are the chances that I'll be able to see my baby at my 8 week appointment? My doctor does not do confirmation of pregnancy (maybe because it's my actual gyno?) and they just went ahead and set up my 8 week appointment. I know that they'll tell what not to do, ask family health questions, prescribe prenatals, ect... but Im just curious as to if I'll get to see my baby bean! thanksss.
year and a half old baby question about health? my nephew can NOT drink milk or he gets horribaly constipated, and i can tell it hurts him... why is it that milk does this? can soymilk help or does anybody know what causes this? i just want answers.
First time pregnancy question related to new born baby's health? I am pregnant at 28 weeks with my first baby on the way. I am excited and anxious hoping that my baby will be born with normal and healthy from head to toe. I had my 22 week ultrasound in that I did see the 4 heart chambers of my baby, it was pumping blood, the ribs were properly formed, the brain, the arms, legs, etc. I even got to know that I am having a boy! I am just scared I guess because I have a close friend who delivered her baby a month before due date, and her little girl suffered a heart murmur and a missing heart valve. I asked her if she was ever told about it in ultrasounds before the baby was born , she told me that her OB was surprised because He had never suspected that in baby's ultrasound or heart beat checkups. So her girl having been born with the condition has to go through 3 surgeries before the age fo 3 just to repair the heart damage. I was told another mom gave birth to a baby with a very narrow bone marrow and was told and indicated nothing in her U/S In all my ultrasounds and heart beat checks, my OB has said everything looks great. She said my 22 week U/S looked perfect and the baby was very healthy and normally developing. I can assure he is but I am just nervous, don't know why. Is there really a chance that if everything until now is fine, my baby will be born fine as well?

Baby Kitten Questions? Okay, well my mom and I were thinking about getting a kitten. I am a kid and I am quiet and gentle but would love a small kitten that would love me and follow me and act like I was it's mother and all that, and I know that takes time and love. I was wondering a few questions. I have been looking at some baby kittens on petfinders and things like that. I live in Ohio. If you have any infortmation about adopting only BABY KITTENS in Ohio then please let me know. Also, I had a few questions about the procedures about baby kittens. 1. They would be anywhere from 2 months to 4 months. I know that two months is a little young but there are some out there for 2 months. If I did adopt a young one like this, would there be any problems behavior or health-wise? What extra efforts would I have to put forth to take care of the baby? 2. We were wondering about the whole declawing thing. How painful is it for a cat aged 2-4 months to get a declawing? Is it as painful as people say? Also my mom and I are working and going to school all day and she is afraid that when we're not home the kitten will scrach everything up in our house. I suggested a straching post, but she thought it might wonder of to the furniture. I told her about saying no everytime it does it or spraying it with a water bottle, and she said how would she know it wasn't scratching when we were not home? 3. At age 2-4 months are there any health risks that we should be aware of? 4. What kind of food and how would we take care of a kitten aged 2, 3, and 4 months? Are there different procedures for each age? 5. What if they do not make bowel movements when they are supposed too at 2-4 months? For each age how would you handle that? I know for very young kittens that our only weeks old you would help them with a cotton ball or something like that before calling the vet, and yes I'm aware that if the constipation got worse we would have to call the vet. 6. Is it true that kittens can wake you up with their meowing? Where would one mostly sleep at night? If they were crying how would you calm them down considering the 3 age levels I have mentioned. 7. If there were little toys all around the house like little pieces could a little kitten that like 2-4 months come by and put it in it's mouth and swallow and choke on it? And if so could this problem be solved by NOT having toys on the ground? 8. Let's say we were away from the house or on vacation and we had someone come over and leave food for it (considering the age now and as it gets older). Would it be okay? Especially a baby without any attention? Thank you for your help. Mostly likely I will be asking many more questions. By the way, we do not go on vacation much but do go swimming a lot in the summer.

Regarding male health prior to trying for a baby? Obviously male health is very important due to sperm development. My question is, what should a male do regarding diet and lifestyle to develop the most healthy sperm possible? I figure the best thing (gift) I can do for my child would be to give him/her the healthiest start from a biological standpoint. I have read take a multivitamin. But there must be other things. I was thinking vegan diet, no alchohol, etc.
Question about health insurance for new baby? I'm 30 weeks now, and covered by Tricare prime from my dad's job so prenatal care is covered, but the baby will not be covered at all, not even for a transitional stage. My boyfriend has insurance, but it won't cover the baby until it is a year old. What insurance is good to get for a year or so to cover the labor and delivery fees and such, that isnt exorbitantly expensive? I would prefer not to get medicaid. currently living in omaha, nebraska well his insurance wont cover it because his is from another state and they wont cover children under the age of 1 unless were in the state his insurance is from, and they wont let him get it here because hes not a resident and we dont plan to be staying too long so it would be annoying to become a resident and then wait to change back

why are some people so mean with their answers when you ask a question about YOUR BABY'S HEALTH? like when youre pregnant? and then they act all rude about it. easy for them bc it's NOT THEIR baby. alita: being 33 weeks pregnant and worried about my baby's health bc shes measuring 3 weeks behind will make one have an attotude. and dont tell me to "get over myself" when you have no idea what I go through. get the eff over yourself and dont respond to my questions if you hate them. YOU are the one with an attitude. remember a thing called karma. SO ONE DAY IF YOURE WORRIED ABOUT YOUR BABY'S HEALTH AND WANT SOME CARE AND CONMPASSION MAYBE THE SAME WILL BE DONE TO YOU TEN-FOLD. and about "violating" yahoo answers? please. your very answer is a violation. go shove it. oh yeah alita and I dont know where you get off telling me how to act while pregnant when I cans ee based on your questions youve never been there so dont touch things you know nada about. (and I mean PERSONAL experience).
How to treat a baby doll like a real baby? For health we got some babies. Just dolls not think it over. For six weeks we have to carry it around like a baby. All of our teachers make sure we treat it like a real baby. But quick question, How do I treat it like it is real if it is just a doll?
When to upgrade health fund before planning a baby (in Australia)? I know all health funds have a waiting period for maternity related services. The question is - when during your pregnacy do you start using services covered by the top health cover? and when should you upgrade to the top health cover (eg. 3 months before you start trying for a bub, or 6 months? or later)?
Why is it dangerous to use silver spoon for baby? I came from a country of which giving silver spoon as gift for newborn babies is not a custom (also the usage of the silver teether for baby, etc). I have a 6 mo baby now (still breast fed her). I have received a silver spoon as a gift for my baby daughter, and started using it to feed my baby for the past few days. Only then, I browsed at Yahoo! Answers - and found that there is an open question about the danger of using the silver spoon for baby, without elaborating what is the danger that is lurking. What I want to know is, what is exactly the danger? What harm could it be for the baby in the longer run? I am scared to continue using the spoon, afraid that I would endanger my baby's health.. Could you please give me some information please? Thank you!
A health question about soft shelled turtles? I have a baby female soft shelled turtle and she just got bumpy spots on her back and her left eye is swollen. Is this normal or is she sick and if so what do i do and how can i help her?
Two health questions in one? Well my mom keeps telling me everytime I take advil or tynenol when I have menstrual cramps that I won't be able to have a baby in the future by doing so. Is this true? Also, are you supposed to take advil/tynenol or any other pain reliever with food, on an empty stomach or it doesn't matter?
Why are American People answering UK Questions? I am in the UK, things such as, schooling/law/health and baby names can vary massivley from country to country. I am answering and asking lots of questions, but am fast going off this as a true picture is not always claer. Why is this happening?. I see other people regularily ask the same question.
health question for a potential dad? thinking of having a baby, not in a relationship with the father. what health questions should i ask him? or is ther a web site i can find these questions? im in a relationship with another woman. we both know the man but are unsure what kind of q's to ask him.
Health Visitor - stupid questions? It's that time again where my dreaded Health Visitor wants to come over and check up on my little girl. This woman really upsets me... I already have a 2 year old son, and spent 2 years in college doing child care and health courses; yet she treats me like I'm completely stupid. So my little rant has turned into this question... most stupid questions a health professional has asked you about your little one? Mine are these; "Do you feed her?" and "Do you know how to make a bottle?" (she whines because my daughter is small in size, but is perfectly healthy, she's just a small baby). I will admit that I'm worried in refusing to see her, incase in her little world it'l send some red flag that I'm hiding something. I just want to do what is best by my daughter, but I hate feeling like a terrible mum after every visit.
Questions about advocacy for my wife during the labor, delivery, and post delivery process...? I am looking for opinions and pointers from mother's and father's regarding being an assertive and efficient advocate for my wife during labor, delivery, and after the delivery of our baby. Please give any feedback regarding interaction with doctor's, nurses, insurance company representatives, family, and friends. No detail is too small. I want to be prepared going in. I realize my wife will be doing most of the work, but I want to do all I can for the benefit of her health and our babies health. We are expecting in late September. We have already discussed birhting plans and some other minor details with her doctor.
psychology health question nurse doctors new parent opinion would help? I woke up this morning in tears unable to stop crying, this has never happend before,my chestt felt all tight and was unable to fall asleep.Usually I sleep 5 h a night I have a healthy life style dont drink or smoke.I have been edge and the only changes that have been is a new baby which is very positive what can this be.
Why do pregnant woman ask serious or some what serious medical questions in Yahoo Answers? It boggles my mind why a woman that is pregnant would rather ask total strangers a medical question, then ask her OBGYN or MD. Why do then want to trust total strangers rather then trust a trained medical professional? Do they really want to trust their baby's health to a stranger? MY wife is pregnant and I personally would never trust my unborn childs health to a stanger on the net.
Health insurance for baby - we both have separate plans - not married? My boyfriend and I both work full time and each have one child from prior relationship before we met. We both have family plans through our employer but my question is: does the baby have to go on mine? His is a bit better/cheaper (co-payments & coverage). I'm not sure how this stuff works when you're not married. Thanks to all for your help!! :-)
help with a couple health questions please? 1: The ingredient acetaminophen found in cold remedies and pain killers: 1. can cause severe bleeding in a mother and her baby before, during, and after delivery. 2. can cause inflammation of the liver, jaundice, and kidney failure if abused. 3. has been removed from the market because of its dangerous side effects if abused. 4. is a stimulant and should never be used in conjunction with coffee, tea or other stimulants. 2: According to one of the websites, you should take antibiotics: 1. only until you begin to feel better. 2. even if you don't feel any symptoms, but you think you might be sick. 3. as directed, unless they don't seem to be working. 4. for the full time prescribed, even if you begin to feel better. 3: Expectorants are typically used in the treatment of: 1. coughs. 2. itching. 3. heartburn. 4. infection. 4: Abuse of aspirin can cause: 1. high blood pressure and increased danger of stroke. 2. drowsiness and decreased ability to concentrate. 3. stomach ulcers and gastrointestinal bleeding. 4. migraine headaches and insomnia. 5: On an OTC label, "Uses" refers to: 1. symptoms or diseases the product will treat or prevent. 2 . when not to use the product, when to stop taking it, when to see a doctor, and possible side effects. 3. how much to take, how to take it, and how long to take it. 4. product category (such as antihistamine, antacid, or cough suppressant).
What type of birth do you think is best for the baby? Hospital birth, medicated birth, c-section birth, home birth, water birth, induced birth. Assuming a birth without complications and not considering the mother, which type of birth do you think is better for the baby? Why? (Considering the baby's physical, emotional health and impact on mother baby bonding) Which do you think is worst for the baby? Why? Have your experiences changed your views? This is a non-specific question. Obviously for some individual babies certain things are better. I'm talking about what you think is best for most of the babies, most of the time. Thanks in advance! :)
VERY IMPORTANT! Please heeelp!!! Major "Bug Fogger" health questions! Is after clean up necessary? I'm worried to death right now. I have an attic full of flies, gnats, mosquitos, and a wide array of nightmare creepy crawlies and they've been making their way into the rest of the house so I bought those bug foggers: a box with 3 cans. You set them off with all animals and people evacuated and it says to come back 2 hours later. Nothing about a cleanup. So I set them off all over the place today and have been waiting it out with ferret and hermit crab over my grandparent's house. Then my husband calls from work and tells me his friend mike yocum (also a chemical expert and all about rennaissance man) says that we have to wash EVERYTHING in the apartment because the "chemical residue." I mean wash ALL the dishes even though they were in the cabinets, all the windows, all bedding, couch cushions, all shelves, bookcases and knick nacks: we have TONS of collectibles, that would take a week in itself! Even stuff we wrapped in plastic trash bags because it permeates through. And we could even touch one item that's contaminated and spread the chemical to something clean. PLUS our cageless ferret can't walk on the carpet for 24 hours!!!! (don't worry, we have a babygate so she can't get in the kitchen and the rest of the house I've made 200% ferret proof after years of the little carpet sharks.) Oh crap! I'd have to wash the baby gate too! Itaks covered in duct tape + cardboard so she can't get out! I can't wash cardboard! And all of our loose yugtioh cards! I can't wash all this, most my stuffed animals are antiques and cannot be washed.PLEASE tell me this nightmare is not true and it's not that bad, if there is a cleanup, please tell me the easiest way and the most benign cleaners. My sword collection! What about the leather sheaths? Oh CRAP! Ya, PLEASE HELP! I could kill the company for not putting any warning about this on the box! Ya, I also have to wash our brand new desktop, our flatscreen, EVERYTHING, and when I say wash I mean thouroughly scrub with something that will get rid of the chemical residue. I need a fert safe cleaner though and I really am still hoping I don't even HAVE to clean everything. Has anyone used these before? It's from petco or petsmart, the $15 box of bug foggers. HPENLIFE: um, READ my question. I did. I need to know about cleanup afterwards cause the residue and chemical crap. I just called petco, they said it's true. Omg! But someone else, please post an answer so I can vote it as best. DUSTY: now that's a best answer, thanks.
Health department questions? My wife and I just found out about a week ago that she is pregnant. It was kind of sudden and we have no insurance (you have to have the maternity rider added on before you get pregnant!) Anyway we cant really afford the doctor bills. A friend told me to go to the Health department. But is that safe? Will she and the baby be taken care of properly? I want the best for her while watching our money. Will she get ultrasounds? Any help would be great. Thank you
Why so many health questions? So guys vegetarianism is good for you and good for animals is what you all preach. So why is the section with the most health issue questions? If the ethically correct eating regime is vegetarian or vegan; as is so often stated in this section; then what about the resulting reduction in the farmed livestock, poultry etc. If you cut lets say beef production by 10 animals a year then potentially those 10 animals may have been responsible for the creation of another ten animals, baby calves, little chickens, fluffy lambs etc etc etc. This would continue down the blood line of those original 10 animals and would multiply expotentially therefore completely denying many thousands and eventually millions of animals ever being born. Is this fair? Are you the vegetarian/vegan community willing to take responsiblity; and are you morally or ethically correct; to do this to the animals community. After all animals have rights too. The question is the bit with the question mark.........basic English really for those who don't recognize it thi si a question mark ????? P.S. I live in the country in the beautiful county of Lincolnshire in fact and i have a job running a business supplying fish meat and poultry to people. So yes I have vested interest MichaelH Yes thats an answer nearly. But your vision of pure breeds is not going to happen after all the only way that would happen is if we allowed cows etc to grow wild. Can't see that happening can you? After all most would die and in fact most have breeds of animals have died out because they have been unable to adapt fact!! You don't have a vested interest?
why do people ask questions about sereiose health issues? isn't it better to go to a doctor? there are a billion "Am i pregnanat" questions, thousands of "I missied my period" tons of "i'm not feelling well" "im dizzy" "help there is something wrong with me" "why wont my baby sleep" "why does X happen" "Why wont it X?" and maybe 1 in 99999999999999 will have already gone to the doctors, i have suggested that people go to doctors, and the people go "Ohhhh! i didn't htink of that!!!" WHY
