What do you think about making your own homemade baby food? I am having my first baby this summer and I have decided that I would like to make my own baby food at home. Do you make your own homemade baby food? Do you send homemade baby food along with your baby to daycare? My mom will be watching my baby a few hours a day while I work part time, should I give her the homemade baby food or will it be inconvenient?

Homemade baby food- How do I know if right consistency? My son is 6 months old and overall not a big eater. I did rice cereal for all of month 5, now moving on to "solid" food. Want to make homemade baby food but don't know what gadget to get?? I want to feed my second child homemade baby food when he is ready because it is cheaper and more nutritional. The only problem is I don't know what gadget to get. I want something that will make food for all the stages, pureed for just starting out all the way up to chunky (like stage 3 baby food).
