How long will it take to bring my baby back to breast feeding?

My baby boy is 7 months old. 2 months before he stopped breast feeding. He hesitates even to come near my breast and pushes me and cries when I offer it. I used to stimulate my breast and expresses milk by hand. Also I am making skin to skin contacts very often . But result is not showing up positive. What should be done? How long I have to wait? I am working too. Please help...

  1. I don't think he will come back. Aren't you dry by now? Is he happy with his formula? You can't change your mind about these things it is easier for baby to get milk from the bottle so they prefer that if they get used to it. I tried that with my daughter and she wouldn't go back either.
  2. Over a weekend where you can stay home, you need to only breastfeed him. If you have no milk supply, you need to try taking some Fenugreek, and get a Medela Supplemental Nursing System to give him formula through. And you need to PUMP, PUMP, PUMP to get your supply restimulated. You can also see your midwife or ob/gyn for a prescription for Reglan which is a supply booster.

  5. u should give breast feeding upto 01 year as this is the main food for a child.
