Can anyone recommend a good breast warmer for breast feeding?
My wife saw some breast warmers on TV to help her with her breast feeding but we can only find one online by babygoga. Can anyone tell me if these are any good? It would be nice to get some constructive answers rather than being told how stupid we are. It's not to warm up the milk, how stupid do you think we are? It's to help with letting down and can provide relief for tenderness.

- AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA ROFL Thats the funniest thing I've ever heard! Use a hot washcloth. Otherwise everyone is going to call you a yuppie!
- A breast warmer? Why on earth would she need to warm her breasts up? They aren't bottles! They are already body temperature? Remind her that, when it comes to breastfeeding, it will be easier for her if she keeps things simple... A breast warmer????
- I have never heard of these..l.. if you need one.. then use a warm washcloth on her breast or take a warm bath.. I use to eat alfredo, milk smoothies, and other dairy foods, and then took a nice warm bath.. milk would flow!.. keep away from stress or milk will reduce.
- Not necessary. I was really engorged ONE day and just used a warm washcloth. Everyone is different though, but I personally never used one.
- That is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. The milk is already at 98.6 degrees and you don't want it much warmer than that for a baby! If people spent more time on alternative energy than inventing crap like that... EDIT: I'm not saying YOU'RE stupid I'm saying it's a dumb and unnecessary invention and there are better things to spend your money on.
- I can only guess you're talking about the things that I heard they use in Scandinavia to prevent clogged ducts. A hot washcloth works fine, as does a hot shower. Those sort of things aren't usually needed every day, only if a clogged duct arises. But if your wife is having a lot of trouble make sure she's feeding the baby often enough.
- isnt that what a husband is?
