When breast feeding, do I need to use special types of bottles?
I plan on breast feeding, but I will be going to school full time so I will have the leave the baby with my mom or mother in law sometimes when I go to class. I put special nipples on my registry, but does that mean that I need special bottles? Will these nipples fit on whatever bottle I get?

- You need to make sure you got the nipples that match the bottles..Like Playtex nipples for Playtex bottles.......I told you earlier about the slow flow nipples, and i'm using those because I have several friends that have or are breastfeeding that said the baby is more likely to take to the bottle with a slow flow nipple because the flow is more like the breast nipple... I've never heard of their being special nipples that fit any bottle, i'm sure they are out there though, lol, i'm not that up to date I guess!
- You don't need specific bottles just because you are breastfeeding, but if you are wanting to use certain nipples, they do need to match up with the bottle they are designed for. Milk storage bags, however, can be used with any bottles - you can use them in place of drop-ins in that type of bottle, or just pour into a standard bottle. I prefer drop-in bottles because they are less hassle.
- What brand nipple you got check to see if they make bottles that brand. I did Avent.
- i breastfed and dd had a hard time taking bottle while i was at work, etc. after a bunch of trying she finally accepted the platex vent air(?) but the wide nipple and only the old school brown nipple. just make sure the brands match and the type. my wide nipple wont fit a regular. that sounds kinda funny sorry!
