What is the easiest way of making a baby sleep for a long period of time?

My baby sister has been sleeping really good some night and other nights not at all. Could someone teach me an easy way to making a baby sleep for a long period of time?She is exactly 9 lbs. 20 1/2 inchs. tall and she is 23 days old.

  1. Maybe put some soothing classical music or lullabye cd's for her. It used to work with my pre schoolers during nap time. God bless you.
