If I don't stay off my feet, will it be harmful to my baby's and my health?
I am 10 weeks pregnant with occasional pink spotting. The Dr said there is "a bleed" under the baby's sack and told me I have to stay off my feet and in bed. If I don't what health consequences do we have? Are they just trying to prevent a miscarriage, or would there be more to it than that? I am just wondering if a miscarriage is inevitable, is that what they are trying to stop, or is my health at risk?

- If the doctor says bed rest then do as he says...he he says take it easy then you can get up and move around but do not take long walks, go to malls, or anything that keeps you on your feet or strains you in any way until you are in the clear. better to be safe than sorry.
- Those are questions for your doctor. But if they're telling you to stay off your feet this early, they mean it!
- If you don't stay off your feet (just to be short) you could lose your baby. You should know the answer to this question. You need to ask more questions at your appointment so you understand what's going on with your body and your baby. It sounds like their trying to prevent a miscarriage. STAY OFF YOUR FEET!!
