are baby care also avalable for one day only?

I am a house wife and I have a 20 month old baby. We are looking for a baby care/ child care just for one day for 4-5 hours because we have to go somewhere for one day where babies are not allowed.

1. Could you not ask family or friends?
2. ask a trusted family member or friend it would be much easier.
3. I agree, if you have to go one day out without your child-I think you'd be better off asking a friend or relative to watch your baby. Maybe you should find a babysitter that works for you on occasion so you can go out without your child maybe once a week, it's good for couples to go out a little bit just by themselves. And then when you need to go out during the day you have someone you trust look after your child. Because right now you would leave your baby with a complete stranger? Not very wise. If there's still time before your even, maybe you can hire a sitter, that can work a few hours in your house-while you're there- just so your child gets used to it/
