Can teen pregnancy affect the mother as well as the baby health-wise?
I am writing an essay on teen pregnancy: I know that it can cause pelvic damage, and depression. What else? I only want what can happen to the mother, not the baby. Safety are you retarded?! If you get pregnant under the age of 20, you can get serious spine/pelvic damage, depression, high blood pressure, the baby could be premature, have physical/mental disabilities, you could have a miscarriage, soooo many things can go wrong if you get pregnant to young!

- You can have a baby at any age. The reality is, the younger you have a baby, the less likely it is to have health problems. Then why are you asking? ....................../´¯/) ....................,/¯../ .................../..../ ............./´¯/'...'/´¯¯`·¸ ........../'/.../..../......./¨¯\ ........('(...´...´.... ¯~/'...') .........\.................'...../ ...........\.............. _.·´ ............\..............( ..............\.............\...
- I had a baby when I was 18 and I had preeclampsia. Its common to get that if youre under 19 or over like 40.
- i think teen mothers are more likely to have premies. which can cause a whole bunch of problems for baby. and fyi depression is common in alot pregnancies, not just teen pregnancies
- Post Partum Depression, of course. I guess there's really no condition for it as much as you can argue that it damages mental health. Also, young girls having babies when their bodies aren't fully developed can cause problems later in life. If anything I'd argue loss of life and quality. I guess they all grow and mature in the end, just in different ways.
- Just make yourself strong. Eat what is nutritious and do proper exercises. I know many teen mothers and they are quite healthy and their babies too.
