In your opinion, what is the BEST baby care invention and what is something you WISH would be invented?

Just curious what every body's opinions are on this topic. Hands down for us, the Boppy pillow is the best thing ever invented! We use it for absolutely everything. I also really wish someone would invent some kind of bottle holder for infant feeding. That way you could feed your baby and have both hands free to play and interact.

Public Response to In your opinion, what is the BEST baby care invention and what is something you WISH would be invented?

  1. Best: milk bottle, everyone use it Wish: auto diaper change
  2. Best Invention = Disposable DIapers Greatest Wish = Babies that don't poop
  3. Video baby monitor. I don't think I would have gotten any sleep when we switched her from the bassinet in our room to her crib if I hadn't been able to wake up in the middle of the night, reach over on my nightstand and flick a switch and *see* not just hear her in her crib, I could see if she was still on her back and if she was breathing. And now that she is in her toddler bed, I can see that she is actually in her bed sleeping and not up playing at 2 AM. As for wishing? Maybe some kind of pill we could give them so that diaper changes don't smell as bad? I'm not sure if there is anything out there that they don't have.
  4. Best- The Stroller (why because back in the day, you have to carry your baby everywhere and it starts to put strain on your back Wish- An On Off Button for the baby (We could only wish right)
  5. I second on the boppy! Breastfeeding would have been much more difficult without it. I know I used a regular pillow a few time and it just killed my back. Also, the "Tiny Diner" - I can't imagine life without it! It's a rubber mat that adheres to tables with suction cups (for when you go to a restaurant). There is a little "catcher" that catches the food before it falls on your child's lap, and with this product, your little one doesn't need to use a plate from the restaurant. So, you never have to worry about your child tossing it on the floor and it breaking. Also, it's so easy for clean up. I got mine at Babies-R-Us, here is a link: http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2908461 (they come in green, blue, and pink). As for an invention that's not out there, I have no idea. There is SO much stuff in baby stores today, some of which is even too out of this world for me! LoL!
  6. Hello :) Awesome question... The best invention is the swing... LOL loved it when both my kids would nap and they could nap in the living room where I could see them. My wish- Would be a mute button only because my daughter has learnt how to scream at the top of her lungs and it is VERY ear piercing.... LOL
  7. Best baby care invention would be the playpen lol or the cloth nappy, good for the environment and can be used for over the shoulder possit catchers then kitchen rags when bub grows out of them. I wish someone would make a porable pop up playpen, something that could lie flat when not in use, would be sooo handy for holidays =)
  8. best: the cot. Nothing is as sweet as knowing your baby is safely sleeping and not going to roll off into the distance while you aren't looking. wish: a silent, effective wake up machine to wake your husband when the baby wakes in the night. It seems pointless to wake up, spend 5mins waking him up because it's his turn. By the time he's up i could have fed and changed the baby already!
  9. my breast friend pillow is the best invention, its the only way we could get my daughter to nurse! i also love the pacifier and the bumbo seat!! havent really used the boppy for much\
