Pregnant and a vegan. How to keep my baby health?

Hey, I just found out I am pregnant I am 21 and a vegan. I want my baby to be health but I don't want to eat meat or dairy items. Is it even possible? I am already 18lbs underweight. What should I do?

  1. Firstly make sure you are taking pregnancy vitamins. Being so underweigt could be an issue so you should try eating more and also speak to your doctor. He will make a diet plan with you so that you can continue your vegan lifestyle but keep the baby healthy also. xxx
  2. You could be posing a greater risk of miscarriage or a child with not as developed bones if you don't get your dairy. Milk, yogurt, cheese...those multivitamin supplements are not enough. I think you should sacrifice a little and at least get your daily servings of dairy in, especially in the first few months when it's crucial for your baby's growth and brain developement.
