How to care for a baby bunny?

My friend is giving away little baby bunnies for free. They will be ready in about a month. Any tips on what to name them, or how to care for them. I'm going to be keeping them outside.

  3. Wow, yes I do! Plus I have many websites for you! First off, I'd like to say rabbits are one of the best pets you could get and adorable! Their easy to care for, it's easy to maintain their housing ect., they're one of the cutest animals ever, and you can show them (which being in a 4-H group is A LOT of fun! Plus more! Anyways, naming wise, sorry I stink at that unless I know what the bunny you choose is going to look like (which obviously neither of us do yet, until a month from now when you decide which you will get to keep)! If you're going to be keeping them outside you need a rabbit hutch, not a cage. You can build one or buy one from a pet store. Make sure it's secure and the legs are high enough off the ground so no preditors can get them. For more tips though and stuff I'd just look at the many websites below!
  4. Keeping them outside isn't a good idea even if you live in an area that doesn't get cold in the winter. They benefit from being inside and near to humans and the ones bred to be pets need heat in the winter. I'm from the warmer regions of Maine and a number of my friends had rabbits that they kept outside but would almost always would go out one day to feed them and fine them frozen solid. The only exception was one who had a Flemish giant (a meat type rabbit).
