Where does the baby sleep in the sims life stories?

I just got a baby in the sims life stories, and there's no where for it to sleep. The parents put the baby on the floor and it sleeps there. Is that the only place to sleep?

1. you should be able to buy a cot/crib from the buy menu. i just have the normal sims 2, and thats what i hav 2 do
2. A new icon should pop up after a while, that says children. When you click on the icon to buy stuff, go there and there will be supplies and items for your baby like a crib.
3. Well I have the Sims Life stories and I have a baby the only thing you have to do is go to the buy menu click on the teddy bear and then u will see the crib. Then u just click on the crib and it will say what u need to do
