How much does your baby sleep?

Not looking for advice, just kind of doing a poll. How much does your baby sleep (how long at night, how many naps/how long are the naps?) My son is 9 months old, sleeps 12 hours at night (almost to the minute!) and takes 3 naps during the day, for between 45 minutes and 1 1/2 hours. mmkay, let me clarify here. i am not complaining, i do not need to know if it is "normal". everyone loves to talk about their babies, and i was just doing a poll out of curiosity.

  1. My son is 16 months, also sleeps almost exactly 12 hours at night. Only one nap in the morning, about an hour. Rarely does he take a 2nd nap, even when he is cranky! I am due again in dec, and praying that this little guy will sleep as well as my son!
  2. i dont have a baby so i dont know when i will have ur baby will grow up
  3. not enough....LOL. My 4 1/2 month old sleeps between 10-12 hours at night (but not even close to in a row...) and she usually takes 3 naps of 30min-1hr each. If she only sleeps 10 hours at night she usually adds an extra nap in during the day. She also adds an extra nap is she just naps closer to 30min for each nap.
  4. not enough, im up all day and up all night my wife left me and took everything too all i have is the baby's stuff and a deck of cards i don't know how im gonna get money and raise my baby, there's no time for me to look for work because i'm raising a kid, also i don't wanna put him in a nursery because those people abuse kids and he needs to be with me so umm stop complainging about your kid when someone has it worse
  5. Sounds like your son is right on target, as the total recommended is 14-15 hours from 3-12 months. My little guy is 5 months and sleeps 9.5-10 hours at night (he would probably sleep more, but I have to have him on a schedule for work) and he takes 3 naps a day from 45 mins to 2 hours. He usually totals 13-14 hours.
  6. my daughter is 8 month it depends what time i put her to bed to how many hours sleep she has, normally i put her down at 7.30pm and she sleeps through till 6.30am. except weekends she goes bed later. then during the day she sleeps 12.30 till 2.30. i don't mind her being awake so much in the day because i get enough sleep an night.
  7. My daughter is 1 and she sleeps 12 hours ant night, and takes 2 to 3 naps a day for 1-1.5 hours. I love the naps it give me time to do house work.
  8. My son is almost 1 and he is down to 2 naps a day now, sometimes only 1 nap. He sleeps about 9-10 hours at night (sometimes he still gets up once for a bottle.) He sleeps about 2-3 hours each day during 1 or 2 naps.
  9. My daughter is 7 months and she's just about the same as yours. Although sometimes she will have 1-2 long naps during the day. So nice when that happens!
  10. My 1 month old sleeps many naps a day... it's not routine times but probably about 3-4. He sleeps through the night, down at 9pm and up around 3am, then down again until about 6 or 7. We lucked out in this dept.
  11. My thirteen month old son sleeps 12-14 hours during the night and normally has one nap during the day for an hour or two. My newborn, four day old son sleeps constantly! Six hours at night is soo far the longest he's gone in one go though.
