How long does a 2 month old baby sleep for during a night?

I am just wondering how many times a night does a 8 week old baby usually wake up. How many hours of a night do they usually sleep. Thanks

  1. I've read that, every two hours they wake up and you have to feed them when they are about months old. Eventually, they will sleep longer and that time will expand to a minimuim/average of 8 hrs per night, or more. When it's about one I predict they will sleep more because they are bigger than and actually interact with you and get tired, so they will need there sleep. Around age 1-2 make sure they grow up in a good environment and have good friends and watch out for him. They can be trouble makers.
  2. yo mamma
  3. My 2 month old woke up every 3 hours or so.
  4. Oh that would vary depending on the baby, some sleep up to 10 hrs some as little as 4 hours at a time. The night that they do sleep through for the first time, you will probably run into the room in the morning in a panic to check to see if everything is alright
  5. My twins started sleeping all night when they were 2 months old.
  6. Every baby is different. We are babysitting a 2 month old this weekend while his parents are out of town for a funeral. He sleeps from around 8 pm until about 5:30 am. At birth, my daughter slept completely through the night. We had to wake her in the hospital for breastfeeding. When we got home, we just allowed her to sleep. She would have her last bottle around 9 pm, and would sleep until around 6:30 am. It really depends upon the child.
  7. My daughter started sleeping threw the night at 6wks old. My sons all woke at least every two hours. All babies are differant.
  8. my daughter is now 7 weeks and she already sleeps through the night. she usually falls asleep around 10 pm and dont wake up until aroud 7 or 8 am
  9. My son would wake up every 2-3 hours. But he would usually go right back to sleep. Just like when they are new borns, rest when they do. You will need it
