When did your baby sleep through the night?
Im just curious how old your baby was when he or she started to sleep through the night? Breast of bottle fed? By sleep through the night I mean go to bed at bedtime and wake up not till morning. (like 9 or 10 hours at night) No advice needed on getting babys to sleep through night not an issue.

- My daughter is almost 11 months old, and she wakes up almost every 2 hours. Sometimes more often. Breastfed.
- Before she was 2 mos old. She was breastfed the first 4 weeks and then formula fed. What a blessing that was!
- My twins both started to sleep right through when they where 4 months. They were being breast fed but with a sup bottle at bedtime as I just couldn't fill them up. Hope this helps.
- 2 years. breastfed.
- My son is 9 months today and Wakes up 3 or 4 times so i dunno. some time after 9 months i guess but all babies are diffrent my best friends son is 4 months and sleeps til 8 am goes to bed at 9pm.
- My daughter was sleeping thru the night at 6 weeks...breastfeed.
- i'm almost 40 and still don't. what's important is that your child learns to self soothe so that he can go back to sleep on his own.
- Our daughter was three months old -- Bottle Fed. Please note that she has slept in her own bed (crib) in her own room since we brought her home from the hospital. I mention this because she has never had the ability to summons us at a bedside call. This is one of the largest problems that the TV show "The Nanny" usually deals with...The Beckoning Call (Cry).
- By 2 months my son was sleeping 10 hours per night. He was purely breastfed.
- Bottle fed and sleeps from 9 pm to 8 am usually and he is 6 months old. He started around 4 weeks sleeping from 9 pm until 6 amish.
- my baby was 3 weeks old. breastfed. 8 hours a night seems to be sleeping for longer periods now. she is 3 month now.
- around 10 months, breastfed
- First baby was 100% breast fed and slept 9pm till 6am at 18 days old. Second baby was complimentary fed (breast first and then topped up with formula) and was sleeping 6pm till 7.30am by 8 weeks. Baby three is 5 months old today, is also complimentary fed and is still waking up every night at 4am.!?! We have had an overseas trip recently (a month in UK) which is probably why baby number three is still a bit out of wack.
- I consider through the night at least seven hours, as that is the amount I need to be reasonably cheerful. Both kids, around 6-8 weeks, when they reached 10 lbs. Both breastfed for one year. On solid food around six months. Unfortunately, the second kid's seven hours were 8 p.m., to 3 a.m., but I took what I could get. Dad put first kid to bed after Mom and sister were asleep!
- My daughter was around 4 months when she slept thru the night w/out waking up. Every once in awhile she would wake up I guess bad dream but would go back to sleep w/out me helping her. I bottle fed the whole time.
- I have a son and a daughter, both bottle fed and they started sleeping alone in their own cribs through the whole night once they were 1 month old. My son would go to sleeo by 5 or 6 pm and wouldn't wake up til 7am the next morning, eat and go back to sleep for 2 or 3 more hrs...my daughter goes to bed by 8pm and is awake around 7am for breakfast.
- Mine did at about 1 week old. He was breastfed, and we also coslept until he moved to a crib at 6 months old (also when HE was ready, not when we were); we are strong believers in attachment parenting. We threw out the schedules and met our son's needs when he needed them. As a result, he started falling asleep around 8 PM, woke up at around 8 AM, nursed, played/cuddled for an hour or so, and then went back down for a nap. All kids are different though; my nephew (who also slept in a bassinet and was formula fed, if that helps) didn't sleep through the night until he was about a year old.
- all mine slept through the night at 3to 4 months
